This is the year your family knows the whole Bible.
From Creation to the early church — together, across every age in your house, in about 15 minutes a day.
You already know the Bible matters.
You just haven’t found a plan that works for you.
Most Christian homeschool families are covering the basics — the books of the Bible, the Ten Commandments, a memory verse here and there. And that's not nothing. But somewhere in the back of your mind you know there's a bigger story to tell. One that goes from Genesis all the way through Acts, connects the dots, and actually sticks with your kids.
The problem isn’t you.
It’s that a curriculum like this has been surprisingly hard to find.
GBBS was built for the mom who wants to teach the Bible the way she always wished someone would — as one great, connected story — and just needed someone to hand her the plan.
Introducing The Great Big Bible Story
Great Big Bible Story is a Charlotte Mason-inspired Bible curriculum for homeschool families with kids ages 4-12. In 32 weeks, one story at a time, your family travels from Creation to the early church — together, across every age in your house, in about 15 minutes a day.
Every lesson is built around a story, a big idea, and a memory verse your kids will actually remember. The pace is unhurried. The content is rich. And the whole thing is designed to weave into your family's week naturally — not just your school day.
Three tiers. One for every family. Scroll down to find yours.
Here's what a typical week
looks like in a GBBS family.
It's Monday morning. You sit down together — your four-year-old, your seven-year-old, your eleven-year-old — and you read this week's story. Same story, same room, every age engaged. Fifteen minutes and you're done. That's the lesson.
But that's not where the Bible learning stops.
On the way to co-op you put on the memory verse song. Nobody's drilling anybody. It's just on. By Thursday your six-year-old is singing Romans 5:8 in the hallway and doesn't even know why she knows it.
Wednesday night your eleven-year-old reads the storybook to your youngest at bedtime. You didn't plan that. It just happened because the book was there and she picked it up.
You're standing at the stove on a Thursday. You glance at the fridge and see the magnet for this week's unit. One question comes to mind — a real one, not a fill-in-the-blank. You bring it up at dinner. Your kids actually answer it. The conversation goes longer than you expected.
That's not a curriculum. That's a Bible culture. And it's running in the background of your normal week without you having to manufacture it.
That's what GBBS is designed to do.
